I am the proud mum of Frances (Frankie) Leigh Ross. She delights me. She is the pot of gold at the end of my rainbow. But in truth, she can also be a little terror and I'm never going to be one of those mums (the kind you want to strangle) who pretends that their child is perfect. Frankie farts like a fat truck driver. She doesn't always meet her age-appropriate development criteria. She isn't on friendly terms with Mr. Sleep. Still, I love her to pieces and want to document all the things that I am learning about motherhood as a result of her teaching. Some are good, some are not so good, but (hopefully) all are interesting.
